In November of 2021 Judge Hutson lowered the bail and allowed the release of career felon William Shae McKay. On December 29th, McKay murdered Officer Isaiah Cordero during a routine traffic stop.

Judge Hutson is clearly culpable for death of Officer Cordero because of her inability to perform the functions of a court officer. Her lack of judgment regarding the danger McKay posed to the general public makes her personally responsible for the death of a peace officer. Judge Hutson should resign immediately and have her pension forfeited to Officer Cordero's family. She should also face criminal charges commensurate to her negligence.
